Learning, Giving Back, and Sharing a Home-Cooked Meal
Giving back starts with showing up, learning, and finding meaningful ways to support our community. Recently, the team at East London Hyundai had the opportunity to spend an evening at Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario, where they learned more about the incredible support the organization provides to families with children receiving medical care.
After touring the House and gaining a deeper understanding of its mission, our team rolled up their sleeves to prepare and serve a home-cooked meal for the families staying there. Sharing a meal is a simple gesture, but it offers families a chance to take a break, gather together, and enjoy a little comfort during an otherwise difficult time. Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario provides so much more than accommodations. It creates a welcoming home away from home where families can remain close to their children while receiving the support, compassion, and resources they need throughout their healthcare journey. We are grateful to the entire Ronald McDonald House team for welcoming us and for the important work you do every day. It was an honour for our team to contribute in a small way and to experience firsthand the incredible impact your organization has on families across our community.
