On May 12th, members of the Finch Auto Group team spent the day volunteering at the London Food Bank, continuing our ongoing monthly commitment to supporting families across our community. Throughout the visit, our team helped sort donated food and pack hampers for households of all sizes. It was another meaningful reminder of just how many individuals, families, young children, and infants rely on these supports every day, and how much care goes into preparing each hamper thoughtfully. This month’s volunteer group included team members from Finch Collision, Finch Kia, East London Hyundai, and the Finch Auto Group administration team. Coming together from across departments and locations continues to make these volunteer experiences especially meaningful.
One of the most impactful parts of the day was learning more about the scale and coordination behind the operation. Beyond food sorting and hamper packing, the London Food Bank supports the community through satellite and mobile locations across the city, helping make access to food more inclusive and accessible. We also learned more about the thoughtful options available to meet different needs, including hampers for individuals without regular kitchen access, as well as halal, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. It was inspiring to see the level of care and consideration that goes into supporting every household with dignity and compassion. A heartfelt thank-you to the London Food Bank team for welcoming us, guiding us through the process, and for the incredible work you do every single day. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting such an important organization right here in London.
