Supporting Important Conversations at the 2026 Breakfast of Champions

At Finch Auto Group, community means more than simply showing up. It means listening, learning, supporting one another, and helping create meaningful conversations around the issues that impact people every day. On Friday, May 8th, members of our team were proud to attend the 2026 Breakfast of Champions, hosted by the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation. This year’s event focused on an especially important and timely topic: Mental Health in the Digital Age.

The morning featured powerful presentations from Carol Todd, mother of Amanda Todd and internationally recognized mental health and anti-bullying advocate, alongside Dr. Bailey Parnell, a leading speaker and researcher on digital wellbeing and social media’s impact on mental health. Together, they shared deeply meaningful insights into online safety, cyberbullying, digital wellness, and the growing importance of mental health support in today’s connected world. Funds raised through this year’s Breakfast of Champions supported both the Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services and the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation, helping expand access to mental health care, resources, education, and support throughout our region.

Events like this are an important reminder that mental health conversations matter. Creating safer digital spaces, supporting youth and families, and building stronger mental health resources takes ongoing collaboration and community involvement. We are grateful to be part of a city that continues to prioritize these conversations and support organizations doing such vital work.
