Celebrating Resilience and Community at the 2025 Breakfast of Champions

Yesterday morning, over 1,200 community members—including staff from across all Finch Auto Group dealerships—gathered bright and early to attend the 2025 Breakfast of Champions. This annual event, hosted by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation in partnership with CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Services, is a powerful reminder of the strength, support, and resilience that exists within our community. Now in its 18th year, the Breakfast of Champions has raised more than $2.1 million in support of mental health care services right here in our region. These vital funds help ensure that individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges receive the compassionate, comprehensive care they deserve. As proud Title Sponsor, Finch Auto Group was honoured to stand alongside other local leaders and changemakers in recognizing and celebrating mental health champions—those who are making a real difference every day.

The morning featured a stirring keynote from bestselling author and humanitarian Amanda Lindhout, who shared her harrowing story of being held captive for 460 days in Somalia. Through her personal account, Amanda delivered a deeply moving message about healing, gratitude, and the importance of mental wellness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in the room. We extend our sincere thanks and congratulations to the organizers and volunteers who made this inspiring event possible. The Breakfast of Champions is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of courage, community, and hope.
