We decided to spread the wealth amungst multiple non-for profits based on the feedback from our team, which is why our team at Finch Hyundai was very happy to donate $3,000 to the CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services!
CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services (TVAMHS) is an integrated mental health and addiction agency providing community-based supports and services to individuals aged 12 and up in our community. CMHA TVAMHS is one of the largest branches in the national CMHA federation, with more than 650 employees and approximately 300 volunteers, serving communities across three counties with a total population of over 635,000. The organization was established in April 2021 when three organizations (Addiction Services of Thames Valley, CMHA Elgin-Middlesex, and CMHA Oxford) united to better serve the mental health and addiction needs of the Thames Valley Region. Some of the many things they do is provide screening, assessment, treatment planning and addiction treatment services to persons who are concerned about substance use, problem gambling, and other behavioural concerns. They also provide support, education and treatment for family members.
