Family Service Thames Valley provides services to persons with developmental disabilities through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). They encourage individuals to create their own Individual Support Plans (ISPs) that are founded on the values of self-determination, social inclusion, citizenship, and choice and offer services that are consistent with these plans. In addition to communicating with other service providers and managing clients' cases, they also organise local resources. These services are provided in the counties of London-Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin.
"Mental Wellness and the stigma surrounding mental health effects me personally as my husband suffers from depression. So many people suffer in silence due to the stigma when there is help out there. This event raises money to pay for mental health treatment for those who cannot afford treatment"
