Finch Match My Donation Spotlight: ATN Audio Tactile Network

This week's spotlight Finch Match My Donation is the

ATN: Audio Tactile Network

Audio Tactile Network

ATN was founded in 1984, and incorporated in 1988 under the name Audio Tactile Network as a research project searching for ways to connect talented trained individuals with disabilities to the workforce. In March of 1991 they began to offer formal pre-employment training programs to adults with visual impairments. In 1994, their mandate was expanded to include people with learning disabilities, and in 1995 they changed our name to Accommodation Training and Networking to capture a better sense of the services they had grown to support.

Today, we serve all people with disabilities and all types of barriers. Our focus is on creating community and belonging. We do this by providing whole-person, strength-based supports that empower people to realize their goals and improve their lives.

"ATN has helped me find success in my life through showing me all the opportunities in our community for people experiencing barriers and living with disabilities. I am proud to be someone who has both benefited from ATN’s support, and as part of the ATN team helping others. We need more organizations like ATN helping to raise us all up to our true potential! Thank you for your time and consideration."
