Some of the recipients to have received the award due to Ryan Finch's generosity are: Ben Hooker in 2017, and Alek Ryan in both 2018 and 2019.
This support plays a critical role in recruiting top talent to the Western Mustangs Men’s Volleyball team from across the country. It ensures that Jim Sage - Head Coach - can build a strong team of young athletes to work their way back to the U SPORTS National Championship.
These gifts also support the demands and expenses of being an elite athlete on and off the court with intense year-round training.
Being a part of the team helps build confidence and leadership skills in these young men to set them up for future success. Scholarships also ensure eligible student-athletes can thrive in the Western Experience and be Purple & Proud!
