Finch Auto Group Sponsors London Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction!
On February the 12th 2018 Finch Auto Group had the pleasure of sponsoring a local event: The London Celebrity Dinner.
The London Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction is an annual must-attend event in London, Ontario. The volunteer-organized event is an evening celebrating sports and creating opportunities for children and youth to reach beyond disability. Some of the celebrities that attended the event this year were: Christine Sinclair, Trish Stratus, Shelina Zadorsky, Cindy Klassen, Jade Kovasevic and London Knights player Alex Formenton.
Throughout the dinner, attendees had the opportunity to listen to the highly successful athletes honoured at the event speak of their achievements and the trials and tribulations they went through in order to get to where they are.
The most moving speech of the evening came from 7-year-old: Jordyn Ferguson. Because of TVCC (Thames Valley Children's Centre), Jordyn now has the opportunity to play the sports that she loves. After multiple sets of casts and splints, Jordyn began walking, then running, and then even skating! Jordyn is just another success story all made possible by the Thames Valley Children's centre and why we are so proud to support such an important organization. Thames Valley has created opportunities for more than 8000 children and youth all made possible by the entertaining events such as the London Celebrity Dinner!
The entire team at Finch Auto Group was very honoured to not only sponsor the event but have the opportunity to attend and support such a vital cause to children in our community.
