The ScotiaBank StairClimb for United Way London & Middlesex took place on November 2nd, 2017 and it challenged participants to Climb Like a Canuck by gathering with friends, colleagues and classmates to raise funds and traverse the 472 stairs to the very top of One London Place!
Finch Auto Group was on hand as the tent sponsor for the event as we donated a Mercedes-Benz for the weekend to one lucky participant!
By day's end, the event raised an astounding $224,497.56 for the United Way London & Middlesex. As a point of reference, here is what that will look like within our community:
- • Independent living support for 831 seniors
- • Access to healthy, nutritious food for 343 people
- • Mental health counselling for 242 individuals
- • Mentors for 160 children and youth
- • Employment counselling for 134 adults
The 2017 StairClimb was a wonderful, well-organized event that raised funds for a truly great cause. Finch Auto Group feels very appreciative that we were able to be a part of such a great day.
