Many people know the Finch Auto Group as a staple within the London community, but few realize that we have other dealerships playing key roles within their respective communities. On such example of this was on display on Thursday, June 22nd as Mercedes-Benz Newmarket served as the title sponsor for Pickering College's 18th Annual Golf Tournament at Silver Lakes Golf & Conference Centre.
In addition to serving as the title sponsor for the event, Mercedes-Benz Newmarket also had a 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 out on Hole 11. The vehicle was up for grabs on a two-year lease for anyone who could ace the hole (although no one ended up completing the feat).
Pickering Colllege is an independent boarding school for children ranging from Kingergarden to grad 12. The school was founded way back in 1842 and settled into its current location in Newmarket in 1909. The College's ultimate goal is to serve as a leader in the field of education, inspiring their students to become enlightened citizens who meet high standards for lifelong growth and learning.
It was particular cool seeing so many Pickering College students helping out with the tournament and the group of golfers who participated were truly second to none! Mercedes-Benz Newmarket looks forward to continuing their relationship with the College long into the future!
