Georgetown Chevrolet Buick GMC was so proud to present their 2nd Annual Buick Drive for Your Students Event at Ethel Gardiner Public School on, June 10th, 2017. The goal was to raise $10,000 for this local school as Buick Canada pledged to donate $20 per test drive throughout the day up to a maximum of $10,000. This means that we needed to reach at least 500 test drives in order to achieve of our goal.
We are thrilled to announce that the event proved to be an enormous success with an estimated 523 test drives participants! This means that we exceeded our goal and that we were able to raise the full $10,000 for EGPS! Of course, we also had a tonne of fun throughout the day as we had a BBQ, refreshments, inflatables, face painting, a silent auction and so much more to ensure fun for the whole family! Our favourite mascot Finchy even stopped by to hang out with his buddy, the Ethel Gardiner Grizzly.
We are incredible thankful that Buick Canada provided us with the opportunity to take part in this program and that they are as committed as we are to giving back to our community. We are also thankful to everyone who helped make this event a success. We are already looking forward to the event next year!
