The Chevrolet Express lineup enables you to spec out a van to meet your precise requirements. With Passenger, and Cargo 1500, 2500 and 3500 models, regular and extended wheelbases, available all-wheel drive on 1500 models and a wide selection of engines, including the new generation Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8. On top of that, there's the immensely capable Express Cutaway 3500 and 4500 models. All use advanced technology to make your van that much safer, more powerful, more controlled and more satisfying to drive.

 

Massive Power To Haul Massive Loads

 

With the kind of passenger and cargo capacities delivered by Express Vans, substantial power is a prerequisite. Passenger Vans offer three Vortec V8 engines. Cargo models add a fuel-efficient V6. There's also the newly revised Duramax that generates 260 hp and an earth-moving 525 lb.-ft. of torque to give you the power on demand needed to get a load moving. Fuel efficiency is enhanced for all Duramax-powered Express Vans by a 6-speed automatic transmission that includes two overdrive gears.

 

 

It's All Under Control

 

New for 2011, all Express Passenger and Cargo Vans feature the StabiliTrak® electronic stability control system as standard equipment. StabiliTrak continuously monitors steering angle, wheel speeds, brake pressure and lateral acceleration. If the system detects a lateral skid, it intervenes by adjusting brake pressure and engine power to help return your vehicle to its intended driving line. As an electronic stability control system, it has proven to reduce the risk of a fatal single-vehicle crash by a remarkable 63 percent.** An available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system on 1500 Passenger and Cargo models enhances all-weather traction and driver control.

 

High Capacity

 

Express is all about capacities. Passenger Vans offer 8, 12 and 15-passenger configurations. Cargo Vans open up a maximum of 8972 L (316.8 cu. ft.) of space in extended wheelbase models. Payloads range up to 1795 kg (3958 lb.). And Express Cutaway models feature enormous hauling capacities, with Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings on 4500 models that extend up to 6441 kg (14,200 lb.). The capacities of Express Vans are supported by a rock-solid, full-length boxed frame. And the legendary dependability that Chevrolet Trucks are known for, year in and year out.

Express Passenger Van is equipped with an understanding that you spend a lot of time in a van, so you should enjoy it.
