Aveo's 1.6L ECOTEC dual overhead cam four-cylinder engine pumps out 108 horsepower. It also features Variable Valve Timing (VVT) that increases both output and fuel efficiency. As for that fuel efficiency, it will give you hundreds and hundreds of kilometres between fuel-ups, with 5.7 L/100 km highway and 7.5 L/100 km city fuel consumption ratings**. So about the only thing you'll be refilling along the way from here to there is your coffee cup.
