Finch wraps up successful first (regular) season with the London Knights!

Friday, March 17th marked the London Knight's regular season home finale at the tail end of another successful campaign in 2016/17. With a 7-3 rout of the visiting Flint Firebirds, the boys in green and gold put an exclamation mark on their home slate en rout to a 4th-seed finish in the OHL's loaded Western Conference.

Of course, with this past season marking the Finch Auto Group's first as title sponsor for the Knights, Friday night's game - much like all of the other Knights home game days that came before it - added a little bit of extra excitement throughout our London dealerships.

Our first season with the Knights has been an incredible experience that has led to plenty of extra game day fun. Whether we were helping the team our with their 50/50 draws or showing off some of our incredible vehicles on the ice and around the Bud Gardens concourse, there was plenty to be done throughout our dealerships and lots of our employees pitched in along the way.

One fun initiative that our dealerships adapted during the regular season involved a standing employee Casual Day on every Knights home game day. These Casual Days had a little bit of twist however, as employees dressing casually had to wear their long-sleeved tees emblazoned with our Finch Auto Group/London Knights crossover logo. Employees were asked to pitch in $5 for each Casual Day to contribute to a pot that - come season's end - will be donated to a local charity chosen by our employees.

Unsurprisingly, we've been reminded again and again that Finch Auto Group has collected the best group on employees in the business. Our teams never miss an opportunity to brand together to support great local causes and to cheer on the Knights in the process.

With the Knights beginning their playoff push at home on Friday, March 24th, you can be certain that you'l see plenty of smiling faces and London Knights shirts if you find yourself visiting any of our dealerships that day.

Here's hoping that our first season in partnership with the Knights is punctuated by yet another long playoff run! Go Knights Go!
